Bio
Dr. Chao-Hsiu Chen has more than 17 years of teaching/research experience in the educational technology field. She started working in the educational technology field as a vocational high school computer teacher in 1992. Her teaching & research focuses on technology integration in preservice teacher education & high schools, particularly the design of interactive learning materials & systems. She has developed various electronic learning materials & systems (web-based systems o r Apps) & studied how teachers/pre-service teachers & students use the technologies to support teaching & learning. She has published in leading instructional technology research journals & presented at national & international conferences related to the e-learning areas. Dr. Chen teaches teacher-education & graduate courses on instructional design & learning theories, & the courses include principles of instruction, sociology of education, design & evaluation of electronic learning materials, & theories & research of e-learning.
