The IED is located on the second floor of Humanities and Social Sciences Building I at Guangfu Campus. HA212 includes the institute/Center Office, and instructional material room (including library and instruments,nine independent faculty laboratories (Each measures 16.87 square meters, and 151.84 square meters in total). There are four classrooms and seminar rooms for students from HA216 to HA219. The multimedia computer lab is in HA220.
The equipments of the IED include:
(a) Two classrooms with video players, overhead projectors and Wi-Fi.
(b) Two seminar rooms with video instruments, overhead projectors and Wi-Fi.
(c) The multimedia computer lab with the broadcast system, 30 computers, 3 printers and scanners, video instruments and an interactive whiteboard.
(d) The amphitheater with a headover projector, Wi-Fi, interactive whiteboard, video and distance learning instruments.
(e) A small-scale library offering multitudinous books to students, such as instructional method books in both Chinese or English, related educational magazines, journals, as well as junior and senior high school textbooks.
(f) The teaching material room stores instructional materials (e.g. projectors, notebooks, microscopes, PH meter, breakers).
(g) Outstanding educator are displayed on the corridor wall. Moreover, there is a reading area for students.
