Associate professor Hsiao-Ching, She got promoted to full professor. Associate professors Ing-Ju, Hsu and Shao-Ling, Hsu were co-appointed with the Counseling Center of the University. |

| Sep, 2003 | ●the IED are divided into Educational Policy and Administration division, Educational and Counseling Psychology division, Science Education division and Information Technology Education division. The admission quota of masters students raised to 20. ●Professor Chin-Chung, Tsai was elected as director of IED and CTE. Associate professor Zhi-Chia, Chen was appointed as a full time faculty member. Associate professor Sunny S. J. Lin got promoted to full professor. |

Professor Kun-Jin, Huang retired and was appointed as dean of College of Humanities and Education in Chung Yuan Christian University. Professor Chin-Chung, Tsai transferred to National Taiwan University of Science and Technology as chair professor. Associate professor Xin-Yi, Peng was appointed as a full time faculty member. Ms. Ya-Yi, Tsai was employed as a staff member. |
