楊子奇助理教授為國立交通大學教育研究所/大數據中心合聘助理教授。其研究主軸是以資訊科技增益教學與學習環境為出發點,發展情境感知學習、適性化學習、資料科學與人工智慧在教育領域的應用。一方面所將發展的學習策略或工具應用於不同領域,例如單晶X光繞射人員的培訓、大學與高中數學課程的輔導、程式設計能力的精進。另一方面,運用資料科學方法,多維探究學習行為的變化,並提出後續應用模型與議題。例如使用資料探勘方法來識別可能影響大一學生英文成績的因素、使用滯後序列行為分析來發掘不同先備知識學生的自律學習行為差異、分析滑鼠軌跡來探討背景音樂對學習效能的影響。上述研究成果陸續發表於 Computers & Education、Computers in Human Behavior, IEEE transactions on learning technologies、Australasian Journal of Educational Technology等SSCI國際期刊中。目前他的研究方向為發展資料驅動的智慧型適化學習環境。
