段正仁教授現任國立陽明交通大學教育研究所教授。其研究領域主要涵蓋神經影像學、複雜神經影像資料處理與分析方法、及其相關的應用,以及腦機介面專用腦波擷取系統開發等。目前進行中的研究包括:
1. 利用頑固型癲癇病人的立體定位腦波(SEEG),透過大腦連結性分析找出癲癇發作源以及其傳導涵蓋的網絡,並以此協助臨床醫師建立手術計畫
2. 透過腦波(EEG)與功能性磁振造影(fMRI)同步擷取資料建立非侵入式的癲癇網絡評估方法
3. 利用腦波與功能性磁振造影研究帕金森氏症病人凍僵步態(freeze of gait)與衝動抑制障礙(inhibition control disorders)的致病機轉
4. 結合多模態神經影像技術(multi-modality neuroimaging technology),如:腦波與眼動儀等,探討大腦網絡在閱讀難易不同句子,及欣賞書法字與著名畫作時的動態變化歷程
5. 結合機器學習與深度學習與資料導向神經影像分析(data-driven neuroimaging data analysis)方法的開發,及其在個人化資料分析(personalized data analysis)的應用
6. 腦控輔具的設計、開發與其臨床上的結合
由於段教授具有醫學工程與物理的背景,因此在儀器設計開發,以及資料分析演算法則上多有著墨。也因為這樣的背景,讓段教授在過去與臨床醫學以及其他不同的研究領域的研究上緊密結合,形成跨領域研究團隊,共同探討許多與趣的研究主題。
